A plethora of PUMPKIN...

This weekend I embarked on the adventure of cooking a pumpkin (given to us by a friend), and all the subsequent baked goods that about 7 cups of puree can make. Here's my pumpkin just after slicing it in two...

The seeds I collected while removing handfulls of inner-pumpkin glop. With some butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and salt, these roasted up nice and yummy...

Mmmmm....pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin cream cheese rolls, pumpkin pecan scones (actually, I have a yummy recipe for these!), pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake...... 'tis the season for delicious pumpkin foods! :)

It seems the more I write the word 'pumpkin' the weirder it looks....

It's that season over here... Pumpkin Spice Lattes are out. And the weather is JUST now getting a little more fall-y. and I miss you.
